Archway approached us with a project to completely overhaul their old Squarespace website and move to a custom-built WordPress platform. Part of this digital refresh was coming up with a design that complimented the launch of their new brand identity. We worked closely with the Archway team in conceptualising and developing a platform that resembles the character of the company. We partnered with ShareStory for the development of website photography and videography that breathes new life into the informative pages and reflects the design-loving spirit that defines Archway’s DNA. w
While Archway’s homemade Squarespace website had been in use for over half a decade with no real issue, the team realised it could further harness the potential of a search engine optimised website. Squarespace includes a good all-in-one package of SEO features, but it will never be able to match how customizable WordPress is for SEO. On top of this, Archway needed to move to a flexible, open-source CMS, where they could be free to have a custom made design and showcase the new brand identity.
Sarah Kirkpatrick - Archway
Archway turned to Sonder to create their new website from head to toe. First, we held a copy interview where we determined Archway’s voice. This interview formed the foundation for the entire website copy which was written prior to the design concept.
It’s no secret that websites with original video content get higher SEO points from Google. In fact they’re 50 times more likely to rank and receive longer visits than those without. With the help of ShareStory, we delivered a suite of banner videos that feature across the site and are visually stunning. We also delivered case study videos that showcase the incredible office fit outs that Archway has completed, narrated by their clients. These videos, along with the hundreds of case study images supplied by Archway, were used to highlight the lasting value they bring to their clients’ workplaces. Last, but certainly not least, we came up with a design that felt light, contemporary and expressed the intangible nature of Archway’s work. We then developed their custom-built website using WordPress and Elementor so that it could be handed over and updates like adding case studies could be managed by Archway’s marketing team.

In the end, the results speak for themselves. Today, Archway feels excited about sending customers to its site, because it genuinely reflects its brand and feels more authentic. With its new website working well, Archway has freed up employees’ time so they can concentrate on building the business rather than fixing a platform. Most importantly, the company is thrilled with how the site has performed in terms of SEO since replatforming. Paragraph on tangible results here? We were delighted to have the opportunity to work with the team at Archway. The combination of a compelling service offering coupled with our expertise in creating a visually stunning and optimised platform, made the project a success.
